The notes in Keyboard can be located in
reference to the set of 3 black notes and 2 black notes which could be clearly
distinguished, and or neighboring white notes.
C- Left of 2 black notes; D- Middle of 2 black
notes; E- Right of 2 black notes; F- Left of 3 black notes; G- After F; A-
Before B; B- Right of 3 black notes
The Black Notes can be located based on the
White Note before or after.
C#/Db- After C or Before D; D#/Eb- After D or
Before E; F#/Gb- After F or Before G; G#/Ab- After G or Before A; A#/Bb- After

The open strings in Guitar or any string instrument is fixed and the other notes follow in order and could be located at a certain distance. In Guitar Notes are identified in order in the frets. The Notes of the open strings of Guitar could be remembered by the line, ‘Every Body Gets Dinner At Nine’.
