Music Learning and Practice Plan

Music Learning and Practice Plan is aimed at guiding the learners, who would not be able to pay, to learn by self and practice by self.

It has 25 lessons, broken down into sub-sections, containing Reading content as well as Exercises and Songs to practice in an orderly and connected way. There are videos associated with the exercises and songs for the needed part (it is slowly progressing). The Reading content and the Exercises are in Tamil as well as English to facilitate easier understanding. At present, the Exercises are connected with the practice of Keyboard and Guitar (it will be expanded soon). 

 

Music Learning and Practice Plan is in an Excel sheet, and it could be downloaded on a laptop or mobile phone by any individual who finds the content appropriate for them. The Excel document shall be renamed as 'Music Learning and Practice Plan_<Name>'. Then it shall be opened and used.

There are columns (A to C) with 'S. No., Title, Exercise' which shall not be edited unnecessarily. There is a column (D) 'Date of Start of Learning' in which the day of starting Reading or Practicing should be filled. The order shall be followed (1, 1.1, 1.2,......) for better learning and progress. There is a column (E) 'Date of Check of Progress' in which the Date of checking progress (It shall be on the same day on which learning was started or many days after that) should be mentioned. There is a column (F) 'Progress- Self Score (out of 10)' in which a self-analysed score shall be put out of 10. From column (G) 'Title-Content / Keyboard Exercise Links in English' onwards the reference for reading content and exercises are given specific to the instrument or language. In those columns from G, the column that is needed (for instance, if a person wants to learn Guitar in English he shall leave ‘Title-Content / Guitar Exercise Links in English' and delete other columns from G).

Note: If a person learns any string instrument, Guitar lessons shall be looked at as a reference and If a person learns any fingered instrument, Keyboard lessons shall be looked at as a reference, and the mode of practice shall be adjusted accordingly.
